New details have been released about Phase 1B of the Innovative Urban Village, an affordable housing development underway in East New York, Brooklyn. Developed by Gotham Organization, Monadnock Development, and the Christian Cultural Center (CCC), the 10.5-acre project is expected to bring up to 2,000 affordable homes and a range of community amenities to the neighborhood.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1471 Amsterdam Avenue, a six-story residential building in West Harlem, Manhattan. Designed by Urban Architectural Design, the structure yields nine residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are three units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $84,309 to $189,540.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 37-42 30th Street, an eight-story mixed-use building in Astoria, Queens. Designed by Mei Architect and developed by Jack Fang of FH 2Bro Builder Corp., the structure yields 63 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 19 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $107,109 to $227,500.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 26-18 4th Street, an eight-story residential building in Astoria, Queens. Designed by Gerald Caliendo and developed by Yael Mead Corp., the structure yields 22 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 80 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $77,932 to $116,640.
Construction is complete on Inwood Living, a 17-story residential building at 3880 Ninth Avenue in Inwood, Manhattan. Designed by JFA Architects & Engineers and developed by The Jay Group, the 170-foot-tall structure spans 211,000 square feet and yields 270 rental units with an average scope of 707 square feet. The project also contains 20,000 square feet of lower-level commercial space, a cellar, one commercial loading berth, and a 41-vehicle parking garage. Twenty-five percent of the apartments are designated as affordable housing. 401 West 207th Realty LLC is listed as the owner of the property, which is alternately addressed as 401 West 207th Street and located at the intersection of Ninth Avenue and West 207th Street.
